Luz is the Director of the Center for Innovation in Technology and Education -Conecta-TE- of the Universidad de los Andes and the Director of the laboratory of research and development of informatics and education -LIDIE- at the same university. She serves as Director of Information Technologies at the Universidad de los Andes and National Director of the project Planes TIC (strategic plan for the incorporation of information technologies in the educational process in the higher education institutions of Colombia). This project was lead by Universidad de los Andes in collaboration with the national minister of education.
