The future of work is no longer a distant scenario: it is happening today. The acceleration of Artificial Intelligence, automation, demographic transition, new ways of working, and the pace of technological change are transforming how organizations create value and develop talent.
However, the main challenge is no longer simply adopting new technologies. Organizations need to build permanent capabilities to learn, adapt, and evolve, while strengthening the human capabilities that will enable people to thrive in an environment of continuous change.
In Latin America and the Caribbean, this challenge is particularly relevant due to persistent gaps in productivity, access to learning opportunities, digital transformation, and workforce inclusion. At the same time, the region offers a major opportunity to develop innovative solutions that connect technology, learning, talent, and organizational transformation.
The TecPrize 2026 challenge-design workshops, held in Argentina, Mexico, and Colombia with leaders from the regional ecosystem, confirmed a shared vision: building the future of work requires a human-centered perspective. Artificial Intelligence will be a fundamental enabler, but the organizations that succeed will be those capable of enhancing human capabilities, promoting lifelong learning, and building more adaptable, resilient, and inclusive cultures.
Under this vision, TecPrize 2026 seeks to identify and support innovative, scalable solutions that help companies, educational institutions, governments, and other organizations develop a workforce prepared to thrive in an AI-driven future of work shaped by continuous change.
