What is TecPrize?

TecPrize is an open innovation initiative of Tecnológico de Monterrey’s Institute for the Future of Education (IFE), aligned with the Vice Presidency for Research (VPI), that connects startups, organizations, and ecosystem partners to identify and support innovative solutions that contribute to building skills ecosystems and preparing people and organizations for the future of work.

Through open innovation challenges, TecPrize mobilizes collective intelligence and connects high-potential solutions with opportunities for visibility, support, partnerships, and development within the Tecnológico de Monterrey ecosystem and its partners.

Benefits of Participating

For the 10 finalist solutions

1. Equity-Free Grant
US$10,000 in equity-free grants for each of the 3 winning solutions.

2. IFE Conference 2027
Flight and admission for one lead founder from each finalist solution to participate in IFE Conference 2027 in Monterrey, Mexico.

3. TecPrize 2026 Final
Participation in the TecPrize 2026 Final on the Mainstage of IFE Conference 2027.

4. IFE EdTech Summit
A booth for each of the 10 finalist solutions at the IFE EdTech Summit.

5. Impact Measurement Bootcamp
Participation in a specialized program to strengthen impact measurement and communication.

6. Support Program
Access to support, experts, mentors, and connections within the ecosystem.

7. USC Education Technology Accelerator
One solution from the cohort with the strongest fit for the program will be recommended for direct access to the USC accelerator program.
