Ana María Raad is an anthropologist specialized in education, innovation, and culture. Founder of REimagina Foundation, an organization that promotes transformation in education and culture in Latin America. She is the director of AprendoEnCasa.org, the digital learning ecosystem in collaboration with 70 Latin American organizations in 7 countries, which catalyzes and accelerates education and 21st-century skills. With Harvard's David Rockefeller Center, she created ecosiSTEAM initiative that promotes STEAM skills at the school level. Previously she served as director of the Center for innovation and education at Fundación Chile, a public-private organization that promotes innovation programs in Chile.
She is currently a member of the National Council of Cultures, Arts and Heritage of Chile;
member of the Council of Science, Technology, and Information USA-Chile; Counselor for
Karanga, the Global Coalition for Socio-Emotional Skills; member of the board of Casa Grande
University in Ecuador. She participates in different boards of civil society, government, and
private organizations. At a global level, she has been recognized and awarded by the Qatar
Foundation and the World Innovation Summit in Education (WISE) for her contribution to
educational innovation.
